A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday June 21, 2012, at Sand Valley Assembly of God for Kenneth Robert "Pete" Alexander Sr., 48, of Attalla, who passed away on Monday June 18, 2012. Sister Lennie Jo Carroll will officiate the service. Interment to follow at Cave Springs Cemetery.
On-site cremation provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory.
Pete was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved animals. Pete was born and raised in the Cave Springs community. He was a loving father, brother, son and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Left behind to cherish his memory, father, Robert Alexander; sons, Kenneth Alexander Jr., Jeremy Alexander; sisters, Glenda Works (Randy), Sandy Barkley (Rex), Bonnie Douglas (Wesley), Janet Cauthen, Sarah Alexander; brothers, Timothy Alexander, Christopher Alexander, Jim Alexander, Travis Alexander; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Special thanks to all of Pete's loving friends and close family for their love and friendship.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sand Valley Assembly of God.
The family will accept friends for visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
