Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Galilee Baptist Church for Corion "Jimmy" Jackson, 20, Gadsden, who died June 12, 2012. The Rev. G.E. Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Christian Memorial Funeral Home directing.
He leaves to cherish his memories, fiancée, Keston Wright; devoted mother, Courtney Jackson; father, Jeffrey Wright; brothers, Jeffrey Jackson and Brandon Murphy; great-grandmother, Bessie Watts, all of Gadsden; four aunts; four great-aunts; three great-great-aunts; 13 uncles; five great-uncles; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family requests no pictured T-shirts of "Jimmy" during funeral services.
Public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Galilee Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. at the church. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
