Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Ronald Ray Howard, 63, Attalla, who died June 19, 2012. Bobby Morgan will officiate. On-site cremation provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
Ronald was an avid Alabama football fan and a class of 1966 graduate of Etowah High School.
He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, and was a contractor, building homes for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Gordon Howard.
Survivors: wife of 41 years, Diane Howard; son, Bart (Angela) Howard; daughter, Brandi Howard; special grandsons, Bailey, Bentley and Tyler; mother, Faye Howard; mother-in-law, Sue Gardner; brothers, Butch (Georgia) Howard, Stanley Howard; sister, Jackie (Billy) Hughes; host of nieces, nephews and friends; special lil' buddy, Bama.
The family is requesting no flowers. Donations may be made to Children's of Alabama or any cancer organization.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
