Phyllis was a wonderful Christian lady who loved God and loved to sing and worship Him. She was a longtime member of Sims Chapel Baptist Church, where Ray was a deacon. If you ever had a conversation with Phyllis, you knew how much she loved her family. There is a large void in our home and hearts, but for whatever reason, Jesus needed a beautiful angel. We know we will miss her so.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Sallie Summers; brothers, William and Ray Summers; sisters, Frances Hamilton and Barbara Cash; father-in-law, Carson Boles; and brother-in-law, Steve "Unc" Boles.
She leaves behind a very loving husband of 42 years and best friend, William Ray Boles; her pride and joy, sons, Bobby (Kelly) Boles, Travis (Pam) Boles, Rodney (Starlet) Boles and Adam Boles; the apples of her eye, grandchildren, Chris, Katie, Andy, Jason, Sarah, Clara and Molly Boles; sisters, Lucille Mayfield and Katherine Walden; brother, Charles Summers; mother-in-law, Bessie Sprayberry; in-laws, Fay, Thelma, Reba, Joyce, Vickie and Bobby; loving dog, Prissy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Shane Walden, Danny Summers, Tony Edwards, Frankye Owen, Dron Cowser, Junior Johnson and Kevin Lipscomb.
Honorary pallbearers will be her dearest friends and co-workers of Beans & Greens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
