Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gallant Road Baptist Church for Mr. Eulice "E.M." Standfield, 89, Gallant, who died Monday, June 25, 2012. Morgan Funeral Chapel directing.
Mr. Standfield was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was retired from Republic Steel, where he was a general foreman. Mr. Standfield was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Standfield.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy (Tommy) Jackson, Gallant; grandson, Kevin Jackson, Gallant.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening. Mr. Standfield will lie in state at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
