Wesley Curtis Kelley, 77, of Centre, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services for Mr. Kelley will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. George Cobb and the Rev. Tommy Ledbetter officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Mr. Kelley was a native of DeKalb County, son of the Late William Curtis and Virginia Baldwin Kelley. He was a member of Centre First United Methodist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Lee Williams Kelley; sons, Randy (Terri) Kelley, of Centre, Rickey (Keela) Kelley, of Southside, and Chris Kelley, of Centre; grandchildren, Kaci and Keri Kelley; brother, Larry Michael Kelley, of Collinsville.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Bishop, John Curry, Charles Brannon, TimWest, Terry Tallent, Harmie Hubbard, Alan Hubbard and Eddie Stewart.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy (Brim) Thompson and Gerald Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centre First United Methodist Church. The family requests no food.
