Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crestwood Chapel for Kenneth "Kenny" Ashley, 31, of Rainbow City, who died Saturday, July 7, 2012. The Rev. David Denson will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Kenny was the father of two young daughters, whom he loved with all his heart. He loved fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Evelyn and Charles Clay, and Leroy Ashley.
He is survived by his daughters, Drew and Alana Ashley; parents, Kenneth Ashley and Kathy Ashley; brother, Kevin (Krista) Ashley; niece, Anna Klaire Ashley; nephew, Carson Ashley; grandmother, Ruth Ashley; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Ashley, Daniel Bone, Derreck Bone, Jason Robinson, Blake Robinson and Ralph Woodard.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Tuesday night at the funeral home.
