Funeral services for Cedric Lavon Horton will be Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Betty D. Robinson Chapel at West Gadsden Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Parker officiating. West Gadsden Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Cedric Lavon Horton was born Jan. 4, 1982, in Gadsden to Miss Juanita B. Horton and Mr. Al Williams Brim.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Alma Hicks; grandfather, Robert Wise; and a host of great-aunts and cousins.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife, Callie Horton; son, Kyontae Horton; daughter, Kyana Brooks; mother, Juanita Horton; stepfather, David C. Williams; father, Al Williams Brim; brothers, Donell Horton and Demetrius Horton; sister, Latoria Horton; grandfather, Henry Williams Brim; grandmother, Celia Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Public visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. Family hour will be from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Rev. Charles Parker officiating. West Gadsden Funeral Home directing.
