Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Mr. Harold England, 77, Steele.
The Rev. Dave Roberts will officiate.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. at the Good Hope Cemetery, Sayre, Ala. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.
Mr. England was a resident of St. Clair County for the past 40 years and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing and all outdoor sports.
Survivors: special friend, Martha Owen, Steele; daughters, Debra Goodwin (John), Hueytown, Donna Morphis (Jerry), Gadsden; sons, Jerry Battles, Steele, Gary Battles, Memphis; sisters, Linda Young (John), Ocean Springs, Miss., Peggy Nichols, Springville, Elsie Benson, Jefferson County; brother, Calvin England (Dot), Sylvan Springs; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers are first-floor staff of McGuffey Nursing Home, Lawley Hospice Care nurses and Bro. Dave.
The family request no flowers.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
