Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lawrenceville Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Ill., for Precious Maxine McFarland Chamblin Phillippe, 92, Attalla, who died Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.
Mrs. Phillippe loved to visit her friends at Pruett's BBQ, still loved going to the beauty shop and watching politics on the news. She loved being with her sons and daughter, talking and laughing. She was proud to be Irish and loved to celebrate that day. She will be missed. "Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you."
Survivors: daughter, Barbara McCollum (Sam McCollum), Asheville, N.C.; sons, Bruce Chamblin (Faye Chamblin), Destin, Fla., David Phillipppe (Sherry Phillippe), Reece City; stepchildren, John Phillippe, Steve Phillippe, Judy Phillippe; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
