Michael Vincent "Vince" Mitchell Blackwood, 42, Gadsden, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012.
On-site cremation provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
Vince attended Emma Sansom High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois Watts Blackwood and Jackie Dale Mitchell.
Survivors: wife, Amanda McGraw Blackwood, Rainbow City; chosen mother, Mary Sarratt; daughters, Sierra, Lexi, Brenda, Tessa and Britney; granddaughter, Bella; special sister, Ashley Sarratt; special brother, Kyle Sarratt.
There will not be a service at this time, but a graveside service will be held at a later date.
