While residing with his sister in California, Stephen Creig Wright passed peacefully Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, following an extended illness.
Born in England, Stephen lived in Gadsden for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Wright; and brother, David.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanette Wright; sisters, Mandy (William) Vinson, Clair Simmons; brother, Paul Wright; nieces, Limara, Danielle and Rebecca; nephew, Thomas; uncles, Gary (Brenda) Wright, Donald Wright; and several cousins.
While in Gadsden, he worked in several paint and automotive body shops. He was known to be a kind and generous person.
A memorial service will be held tonight in Pleasanton, Calif.
