A memorial service will be held at a later date for Janice Foster Wheeler, 66, of Newark, Ohio, who died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at Licking Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 6, 1946, in Mobile, Ala., to the late Joseph and Opal (Reese) Foster.
Mrs. Wheeler's greatest love and achievement was her family. She had earned a degree in Computer Technology. In recent years, she had kept in touch with family and friends though the Facebook social media. She was an awesome mother.
She is survived by her children, Dana (Christopher) Kidd of Newark, Ohio, Matthew (Meredith) Wheeler of High Point, N.C.; grandchildren, Sidney Kidd, Ethan Kidd; sister, Connie (A.B.) Battles of Southside, Ala.; brother, Mickey (Judy) Foster of Gadsden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, David Wheeler, in 1995; and a daughter, Tara Wheeler.
