Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday for Julia B. Clark, 92, Gadsden, who died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012. The Revs. Gary Hare and Billy Burtram will officiate. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery. Village Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Clark worked at Dwight Cotton Mill and Chicoppee Manufacturing Company. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a Christian lady who had a good outlook on life. She was a member of Golden Rod Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie W. Clark; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lauren Fitts; sisters; brothers-in-law; one granddaughter; one grandson; son-in-law, Homer Brooks; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her children, Virginia Brooks, Julia K. (Don) Bryson, Jackie Clark, Carl (Sarah) Clark, David (Glenda) Clark; special grandson, Douglas Brooks; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Golden Rod Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Doug Brooks, Rodney Everett, Butch Brooks, Greg Bowen, Doyce Gargus and Joel Wise.
Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Kenny Smith.
Special thanks to the staff of Riverview Regional Medical Center, Gentiva Hospice, McGuffey Rehab and Gadsden Water Works Board.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Village Chapel Funeral Home.
