Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Rainbow Memorial Gardens for Jerrie Ann Mackey, 75, of Gadsden, who passed away Jan. 2, 2013. The Revs. Jim Bentley and Jay Stewart will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Mackey retired from Food World Floral Department in 2000 after being employed for 18 years as a floral designer. She was a member of Dwight Baptist Church, regularly attended the Gadsden Vineyard Church and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star.
She loved arts and crafts, collecting red birds, decorating for the holidays, sending cards to loved ones and relaxing with a full day of shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Sybil Bolding; sister, Pat Addison; brothers-in-law, David Ray Mackey, W.J. Mackey; and nephew, David Mackey Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gene Mackey; son, Randol (Debbie) Mackey; daughter, Julie (Bruce) Cornutt; grandchildren, Blake and Maranda Mackey, and Tanner Adams; sisters, Cathy Wiemer and Janet Meeks; stepmother, Katie Bolding; step-granddaughters, Haley Avery and Emily Ingram; three step-great-granddaughters; sisters-in-law, Tempie Mackey and Betty (Sentell) Killingsworth; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be the doctors, nurses and staff of ICU at Riverview Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gadsden Vineyard Church, 419 Broad St., Gadsden, AL 35901.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
