Charles Larry Tiller passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. The funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday evening from 4 to 7 p.m., prior to the service in the chapel.

The Rev. Dale Murphy, the Rev. Raymond Bowman and Ray Asbell will officiate the service. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing. The graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Samuel's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
Left behind to cherish his memory are son, Brian Tiller of Altoona; brother, James Tiller of Knoxville, Tenn.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Born in Altoona on June 15, 1945, to the late Watson and Blanche Patman Tiller, Larry graduated from Altoona High School and was employed as a millwright in the construction industry when he retired from the Fluor Corporation. Larry was the type of guy who never met a stranger and always had a story to tell to amuse or enlighten you, or enlighten and amuse at the same time.
He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his sisters, Nellie Jo Tiller, Frances George, Clara Baker and Margaret George; and also brothers, Gene, Reese, Corrin, Ellis and Ray Tiller.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
