Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Jerry L. Holliday, 69, Rainbow City, who died Friday, July 18, 2014. Lavon Naylor and Tim Smith will officiate. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory is directing.

Jerry was a member of the Pentecostal Assembly. He loved Alabama football, old Western movies, collecting knives and guns, and the Word of God. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, General Forrest and Lena Bell Holliday; brothers, Johnny Mack, Archie and Jimmy Holliday.
Survivors are his wife, Aline Holliday; daughters, Pamela Jackson (Ivey Gibbs) and Kimberly (Danny) McCord; grandchildren, Justin Evans, Tyler McCord, Payton McDonald, Morgan Evans, Presley Jackson; great-grandchild, Drayden McDonald; brothers, Morris (Faye) Holliday and Ricky (Glenda) Holliday; sister, Evelyna Willett; a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Holliday, David Bailey, Eli Bailey, Ron Tillery, Randy Tarrance and Justin Evans.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Riverview Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
