Funeral services for Frances Elizabeth Sims Frost, 96, of Gadsden, will be held Monday at noon from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel in Roanoke with the Rev. Edgar Plunkett Jr. officiating and Kenneth Plunkett delivering a eulogy. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
The Guest Book is expired.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday.
Mrs. Frost died Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Embracing Hospice in Snellville, Ga.
Survivors include three sons, William D. "Corky" Frost Jr. (wife, Katherine) of Lilburn, Ga., Robert W. Frost (wife, Linda) of Oxford and Richard J. Frost (wife, Jill) of Madison, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Cary, Tim, Andy and Jack, along with two great-grandsons.
A longtime Gadsden resident, Mrs. Frost was born Sept. 25, 1917, in Columbus, Ga., the daughter of Robert and Lena Belle Brown Sims. She was a member of Dwight Baptist Church in Gadsden and had retired as an ICU clerk with DeKalb General Hospital in Decatur, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William D. Frost Sr.; and a son, Lloyd R. Frost.
