Mrs. Sandy McAdams Johnson, 41, Hokes Bluff, went home to her Heavenly Father Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Union No. 3 Baptist Church, in Ball Play. Bro. Joey Hanner and Bro. Paul Harbison will officiate. Burial will follow in Young's Chapel Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel & Cemetery is in charge.

Sandy was a member of Union No. 3 Baptist Church and would gladly share her testimony to anyone who would listen. She was compassionate, beautiful and loved life. Sandy was a devoted wife, a caring mother and lived life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her husband and enjoyed her kids' laughter. She loved her church family, especially her accountability class. She was a great inspiration and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Johnson; sons, C.J. (Cameron), Matthew, Ethan; daughter, Keira Rose; granddaughter, Adrina Mae; grandpa, Richard Blount; parents, Jima and Patricia McAdams, Ray and Faye Johnson; sisters, Susie (Richard) Graham, Cynthia Kilgo (twin sister); brother, Chris (Charity) McAdams; brothers-in-law, Terry (Kim) Johnson, Michael Johnson, Ricky (Janna) Johnson and Wade (Tiffany) Russell; various aunts and uncles, along with a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael, Terry, Ricky, C.J., Nicklaus Johnson, Chris McAdams, Phil Blair and Rodney Roberts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew, Ethan and Keira Johnson.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Vol. 1 Ball Play Fire and Rescue Squad and EMTs from Piedmont.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Saturday to the time of service at the church.
