Funeral services for Mr. Louie Campbell, 81, Boaz, will be at 1 p.m. today at Gallant Road Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Bailey, David Martin and Mark Martin officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Mr. Campbell was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County and member of Gallant Road Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy and retired from Republic Steel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hale and Lula Campbell; wife, Helen Campbell; brothers, Grady, Frank, Willie Mac, Julius and Ray Campbell; and sister, Veralene Howard.
Survivors: wife, Faye Hubbard Campbell, Boaz; daughters, Debbie Whisenant (Tim), Attalla, and Kayla Martin (David), Boaz; daughter-in-law, Jennifer McCray, Boaz; son, Tony McCray, Guntersville; sister, Frances Hutchens, Gallant; sister-in-law, Elaine Campbell, Gallant; brothers, Ralph Campbell (Juanita), Fairhope, and Bill Hooks (Pinkie), Attalla; grandchildren, Courtney Couch (David), Vestavia Hills, Blake Martin, Heather Busha (RJ), Joseph McCray, all of Boaz; great-grandchildren, Mason Campbell Couch, Rileigh-Kay Busha, Eli Busha.
Pallbearers: Kevin Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Benny Campbell, Gene Hill, Sid Hicks and Mackie James.
Mr. Campbell will lie in state at the church from noon to 1 p.m. today. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory is directing.
