Gainesville - Dorothy Clark Weaver, 95, went to her eternal home on January 23, 2014. She was a long time resident of Lake Texoma and Denison, Texas before moving to Gainesville in 2011. She was at the home of her much loved niece, Peggy Ann Mauldin (Dan), in Alachua when she passed away. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Interment will be in Denison, Texas at a later date. Please visit her memorial page at

Dorothy was truly a sweet person. She and my mother, Jerry Bassett, had a very special relationship, we have missed her dearly. She will forever be in our hearts and memories as a true Southern Lady.
