Dear Patti, Matt, Kristen, Debbie, Nell and family. I was shocked when I found out on line that Kenny has left us. He was a gregarious stranger who one day quickly became a friend. His dedication to family and fellow humans, his wit and his work ethic is an ongoing legacy to be very proud of. You are loved and missed by many. Rick and Janice Frayne and family, Toronto.

To the Bostwick family: Kenny was one of those with an unforgettable larger-than-life personality who never seemed to meet a stranger. Our years apart seemed to vanish immediately whenever we had an opportunity to be in each other's company. He was a colossus who walked with each of us all too briefly. His presence will be missed but our memories and fondness for him remain. Please accept the deepest sympathies for your loss and find strength in your family and friends. That is what Kenny always did.

I am so sad to hear about Kenny -We went to GHS together-class of 1973. Everyone loved Kenny. He was always joking around and laughing. He loved everyone as well. The good ones are taken too soon. I know that Henry, my husband, was there to welcome him into heaven. My prayers are with his wife and children as they go through this terribly hard time.

I can't believe Kenny is passed - I am in shock because I just found out. Less than a month ago we were discussing how to set up a Bread of the Mighty food distribution site at the Blueberry Farm, in partnership with The Friends of the Gainesville Organic Blueberry Farm nonprofit, (a project which would never have been possible without Kenny's permission). He wanted to help hungry families in the neighborhood using the farm property. He was willing to honor work trade opportunities at the farm through the 'Friends', and allow groups of schoolchildren to come and pick for free during the berry season. He was a person who tried to help others when he could. He will surely be missed ! My heart goes out to his sweet family. Matt and Patty, please let me know if I can help in any way to make this difficult time easier for your family.

I've known Ken for years in a fellowship we attended. His heart was as big as his voice, and his courage was amazing in the face of overwhelming odds. He adored his daughter and carried his cell phone everywhere in case she needed him. He took in homeless people and helped me rescue dogs. His generosity was endless. When my old RV died on Hwy 441 a couple of years ago, I donated it to Ken's blueberry farm as a temporary cottage. I was proud to have this small share in his adventurous life. How painful to learn that I'll never see him on this planet again. Please follow me in spirit, Ken, and the rest of us who love you so.

How very sad I am to read of Kenny's passing. I haven't seen him for several years and didn't know he was ill. Kenny was alway the smile in the hallway or classroom and the one to pick you up when you were down. He was truly a friend to man! Even though you didn't see him for a long time, you could always pick up where you left off. My deepest sympathies to his family. May God's peace and comfort envelope you during this sad time. To know Kenny was to love him.
