BROWN, DAVID B.
Gainesville - David B. Brown, Gunnery Sergeant, USMC (retired) passed away May 10, 2013. He was born in Gainesville, Florida on February 1, 1958. He grew up in Gainesville and graduated from Eastside High School in 1976. He then joined the USMC and served his country for 23 years. He retired in 1999. After retirement, David was employed by Honeywell in Jacksonville, Florida.
David is survived by his loving children Meghan and Ryan Brown, his mother Dorothy Brown, his brother Bill Hale (Jackie) and sisters Nancy Alfonso (Mike), Janet Loper (Gene) and Mary Valentine. David is predeceased by his father John Brown and sister Patricia Anderson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 16, 2013, 4:00 PM, at 5402 NW 156th Ave., in Gainesville.
