BEACH, MILDRED
BEACH, MILDRED COLLIER, 80 Trenton - Mildred Collier Beach age 80, of Trenton Fl. died on Sunday, December 21, 2014, surrounded by love. For Mildred, family is where life begins and love never ends. Mildred 'Granny' Beach, left a legacy of love. After a lengthy battle with leukemia, she joined her husband Floyd, daughter Sue and a heavenly host of loved ones with the Lord. Granny is survived by six of her children: Bobbie Jean Spivey (David), Ann Garner, Robert Beach (Jennifer), Shirley Rutledge (Mike), Wanda Kay Roland (Jimmy), Felicia Barron (Jackie) and a brother, Gene Collier (Darlene) and sister, Pat Hester (David.) Also surviving this loving woman are 15 grandchildren and 18 great grand children. These numbers reflect biological 'grands' and great 'grands' only; her 28 years of service to the Gilchrist County school board as a bus driver provided Granny with countless more to love. The community of Wacassassa was the home for Beach's store. This is where any kid could get a cold drink and enjoy the sweet reward of a candy bar. More than just the goods she handed out, Granny would love on them all. She was found at ball parks all over the tri - county area where she gained even more 'grands.' No one was ever unlovable to Granny, every soul is worth saving. Services for Mildred will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 6259 SE 75th Ave., Trenton, FL, (352) 472-3845.
