Gainesville - Dianne D. Prager, age 81, passed away on Dec 6th, 2012 at her home in Gainesville, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Prager Sr. (d. 2001) and her sister June Davis Petch.

Dianne Prager was born September 26th, 1931 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Her family moved to Ft. Lauderdale in the early 1950's, where she met Joseph Prager. They were married in September, 1955. Her surviving relatives include her sister, Sandra Davis of New York City, two sons, Stephen M. (& Susan) Prager of Salem, Oregon, and Joseph S. (& Rosanne) Prager of Gainesville, FL, along with her 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Dianne, her husband Joe, and family moved to Arkansas in 1965, and lived most of their lives in Little Rock or Marshall. They later retired to Marshall, where Dianne was a homemaker and also worked at the local newspaper. She was a beloved member of the Marshall community and played piano at the local Methodist church.

Dianne moved to Gainesville, Florida in 2007 to be close to her family, and resided at The Village until her passing.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at The Lakehouse Chapel at The Village on Sunday Dec. 9th at 2 pm.
