Eddie John Memory died December 22, 2012 after a long illness at the V.A. Medical Center. He was 80. He was horn in Archer, Fl. to the late Thara C. Memory and the late Letha Williams.

He served in the United States Army at an early age and retired from the V.A. Medical Center in Gainesville Fl. He graduated from Bethune Cookman College in Daytona, Fl. He was a longtime member of Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church and a member of the Mason Lodge.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughter Gloria Jean Jackson (Larry) of Archer, Fl.; two step-daughters Sabrina Thompson of Miami, Fl. and Ayanna Smith of Archer, Fl.; two step-sons Larry Smith and Johnny Smith both of Archer, Fl.; brother Thara Memory (Ann); sisters Patsy Harris (Loren), Sharry Jackson (Larry) and Lexie Memory (Tracy).

The family will meet at the home is granddaughter Shonverea S. Robinson (Leo Jr.) 14818 SW 170th Street Archer, Fl.

Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at 11:00AM at Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church is Archer, Fl. Burial will follow in the McGinnis Cemetery, Archer, FL.
