HAMILTON, NORMAN B.

Norman Hamilton passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, peacefully at Gainesville Health Care Center, surrounded by his family. He was 79 years old, born in Geneva, New York. He moved to Florida as a teenager, attended school in Bradford County before moving to Gainesville in 1956. His priority was his family; he was a loving Husband, Daddy and Granddaddy. He was a retired salesman. His hobbies were reading, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Faye Hamilton.

He is survived by two daughters, Cathy (Robert) Berry of Gainesville, FL; Cindy (Ronnie) Regen of Hawthorne, FL; four grandchildren, Ron (Rebecca) Regen of Columbia, SC; Jennifer (Joey) Boch of Hawthorne, Fl; Robin (Justin) Edmiaston of Tampa, FL; Ashley Berry of Ocala, FL and two great grandchildren, Carter Edmiaston and Austin Boch.

Funeral Services for Mr. Hamilton will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Please visit his memorial page at
