Reatha Scott Page of Gainesville died Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Woodlands Care Center. She was born March 17, 1926, daughter of Willie Hayward Scott and Lillian Eunice Scott.

A lifelong resident of Gainesville, Reatha and her late husband, G.K., had a chain of restaurants in Cross City, Daytona Beach, Fanning Springs, Gainesville, Lakeland and also owned and operated Page's Package Store in Gainesville.

Reatha later pursued a real estate career and remained active until her health declined. Although Reatha was quite a businesswoman, she was also a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Reatha was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church, and was a member of Gainesville Board of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.

She is survived by her children: Randy Page (Timmie Sue) and Pam Franklin (Ben III); grandchildren: Lindsey Johnson (Darren), Ben Franklin, IV, Jeffery Page and Natalie Scott. Great grandchildren: Harper Kate Johnson, Colbie Grace Johnson and Bella Grace Page. Three brothers: Buford Scott, Talmadge Scott (Shirley), Royce Scott (Marlene); and one sister, Norma Smith (Graham), and many nieces and nephews.

The family expresses their deep appreciation to Mrs. Idella Hall for her tending to the family needs for over 60 years.

The family would like to thank Woodland Care Center for providing such loving, compassionate care during this past year. Our special thanks to Dr. Zhu, Kristy Wilson, Rolanda, Isobel, Holly, Kelly, Risa, Paula, La-terryle (Cutie), Nancy, Barry and other staff members who made her so comfortable.

Funeral services will be held at Milam Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, October 12, 2012 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Meadows East.
