Tallahassee - Mr. Robert "Bob" Gerald Beverly, 80, a beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on January 3, 2013, in Tallahassee, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon Beverly and wife Rissie Dotson Beverly, four brothers and eight sisters.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Boone Beverly, three daughters (along with their husbands and his grandchildren), Colleen Beverly Scheel (Billy), Danica, Lindsay and Cooper of Williston, Florida, Kelley Beverly Giddings (Michael), Ivan and Lane of Gainesville, Florida, and Paige Beverly Hiers (Bo), Conner, Cori and Cash of Williston, Florida, two step-sons, Michael McElroy (Laureen), Lily and Emma of Tallahassee, Florida and Stephen McElroy, of California, Maryland, and a sister Alberta "Bert" Phipps (Clate) of Hartwood, Virginia, and many loved nieces and nephews.

Mr. Beverly was born on October 11, 1932, in Clintwood, Virginia. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a Methodist by faith. In his wonderful life of 80 years he was involved in the rodeos, car racing, boxing, scuba diving, and sky diving. He was also a stunt pilot and was a Virginia State Champion in archery.
