High Springs - Stansell Hoyt Everett, 87, of High Springs, Florida passed away January 31, 2013 at Lake City Medical Center of Lake City, Florida.

Mr. Everett was born in High Springs, Florida to Aren and Attie Everett. He served in the US Navy from 1942-1946. He worked for the CSX Railroad from 1948 and until retirement in 1987. He also served as a wildlife officer for Gilchrist County from 1957-1959.

Mr. Everett was preceded in death by his father and mother, Aren and Attie Everett; two brothers, Wyndell and Britt Everett.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Everett of High Springs; 4 daughters, Arlene (Mark) Martin of Daytona Beach, FL, Jena (Mike) Anchultz of Daytona Beach, FL, Kimberly (Bob) Schwartz of High Springs, FL, Angie (Jim) Golden of Orlando,FL; 1 son, Kelly (Brandi) Everett of Branford, FL. He is also survived by 12 beautiful grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and his sister Sandra Hanak, Castle Pines, Colorado.

There will be a graveside service at High Springs Cemetery, High Springs on Sunday, February 3rd at 3:00 P.M. Visitation will be held at Evans-Carter Funeral Home on Saturday, February 2nd from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M.
