Cedar Key, FL - Stephen A. McClintick, age 70, died peacefully at his home in Cedar Key, Florida, on July 16, 2014, after a brief illness. He was born on May 5, 1944, in Anderson, Indiana to Theodore and Mary (Deakyne) McClintick, and he graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1962. He worked at Delco Remy until retiring in 1987, after 25 years. Steve was an avid golfer and a member of the Chiefland Golf and Country Club.

He is survived by his sons, Stevie (companion Jahn), and Ted (wife Natalie), daughter Melissa, step-daughter Melanie (husband Bart) Smith, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6-8 pm on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Chiefland, Florida. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel, Indiana on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
