Gainesville - Willie B. Scott, 62, retired R.T.S. Driver and State Anatomical Board University of Florida passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at E.T. York Care Center.

Willie was a graduate of Lincoln High School, "Class of 1968" and attended Miami Dade Junior College. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Precious memories will live on in the hearts of a loving and devoted wife of thirty years, Betty J. Scott, Newberry, FL, a loving mother Mae B. Scott, Gainesville, FL; sisters, Shirley Whiteside (Donald) Gainesville, FL, Sandra Jackson & Eldora Carter (Darrell) both of Jacksonville, FL; brothers & sisters-in-law Althea Dennis, Theodore Johnson, Thelma Perry, (Jerome, Sr.) Lennon Johnson (Sarah); Godbrothers & sister Alma Russ, Willie Ross & Joseph Ross numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends. Funeral Services for Mr. Scott will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Female Protective Temple, 12610 N.W. 39th Ave with Rev. Willie Cunningham officiating Interment will follow in Pleasant Plain Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home, 18 N.W. 8th Ave. Visitation Friday Chestnut Chapel -2:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday at the temple one hour before the service. Family members are asked to meet at temple at 11:45 A.M.
