Age 56, of Cross City, Florida, a former Quarterback of Dixie County High School and Bethune-Cookman College, a former Policeman of the Cross City Police Dept and Dixie County Sheriff's Department, a former Employee of the Cross City Correctional Institution and the Dept of Agriculture, a former Coach of Pop Warner Football and the Dixie County Little League Baseball, Member of Miracle Deliverance Center Church where he served faithfully until his health began to fail, etc. died Saturday, May 16, 2009 in Cross City at the residence of his Sister, Heddie Johnson.

The Homegoing Celebration will be held 2:00PM Saturday, May 23, 2009, at the Dixie County High School Gymnasium (Cross City, FL) with Rev. Timothy Beard, Ph.D, C.R.C. officiating. Burial will follow at the Dixie County Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Collins will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-4:00PM - And later (on Friday) 5:30-7:30PM, the Family will receive Friends at the Miracle Deliverance Center Church (Cross City, FL). Mr. Collins will also be viewed on Saturday at the Dixie County High School Gymnasium following the Eulogy. The Procession will form at the residence of his Sister - Heddie Johnson, 57 NE 224th Ave, Cross City at 1:15PM.

Collins (& Mildred), S. M. Anderson (& Ann), John Anderson, Clyde Jackson (& Cathy), Clifford Jackson (& Dorothy), Clarence Collins; Sisters - Mary Battles and Heddie Johnson; Adopted Sister - Della Cason; Adopted Brother - Hollis Henderson, Jr. (& Henrietta); Step Sisters - Lynn Jackson, Gwen Jackson and Stacy Jackson; Aunt - Annie Blair Collins; Brothers-In-Law - George Campbell and Alexander Cotman (& Valarie); Sisters-In-Law - Geraldine Alston and Frances Godbolt (& John); Nieces & Nephews, Cousins & Friends.
