MIDDLETON, 85
Hawthorne - Margaret "Peggy" Middleton Hearn, age 85 of Hawthorne, went to be with the Lord and her husband Bill after a very long, courageous fight with breast cancer on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. She touched so many people's lives with her strength and courage, never giving up. She was truly touched by God and did have a lot of miracles happen. She enjoyed bowling, making jewelry, going gambling and bingo. She taught youth bowling for 25 years at Alley Katz. Peggy was a devout Catholic, a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church of Hawthorne since moving here in 1962.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, William "Bill" Hearn in 2008, brother, "Sonny" Al Middleton and sister, Dodie Trukowski. She is survived by sisters, Jennie Bolis of Ontario Canada and Bobbie Winslow of Madison, FL; four children, Fred (Susie) Hearn, Patrick (Kim) Hearn, John Hearn and Suzanne (Mona) Hearn, all of Hawthorne, FL; three grand-children and seven great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Hwy 301 South, Hawthorne, with Fr. Dung Bui as celebrant. Interment will follow in Hawthorne Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, October 25, 2013, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAWTHORNE, 301 South at Lake Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to , P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
