Ann was born September 3, 1932 in Hertford, England and raised in the neighboring town of Letchworth. It was in this small town where Ann found love and married John Hill.
Ann and John embarked on their journey to the U.S. together in 1958 when they moved to High Springs.
She first served her community as a medical administrative secretary at two hospitals in London. In High Springs she continued her career at Shands Hospital, High Springs Elementary, and Health Clinics in Alachua, Archer, Newberry, and High Springs. Ann was also a founding board member and co-president of the Ronald McDonald House in Gainesville.
Ann was a proud member of the First United Methodist Church in High Springs and sang in the choir since 1964. She enjoyed traveling with John and her family, especially to the mountains in North Carolina. When not traveling, she liked to play Bridge with several groups of friends.
Ann will be forever remembered by her loving husband, John, her sons Michael (Colleen) and Stuart (Lynnette), grandson Colin, their families, and many friends both in the U.S. and across the pond.
