HILL - SMITH, ANNIE BELL
Annie Bell Hill-Smith, age 88, daughter of the late Adam & Nita Hill, wife of the late Willie Smith Jr., Member of Old Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, former Alachua County School Crossing Guard & 1946 Graduate of Alachua County Training School (ACT) peacefully left this earthly scene on Friday, March 30, 2018, following a brief stay at Haven Hospice/ E.T. York Care Center.
She was a former Member of Queenester Chapter of the University City Elks Lodge.
The Homegoing Celebration will be held 3:00PM Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Jerusalem Church of God by Faith (Monteocha Community/ Gainesville, FL) where Elder Duane Gainey is Pastor, with her Pastor, Pastor Tommy Brantley officiating & Pastor Robert Ellis delivering the Eulogy. The Burial will follow at Rhuta Branch Cemetery. Mrs. Smith will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at Mrs. Smith's residence, 1452 NW 222nd Lane, Brooker, FL at 2:15PM.
She will be fondly missed by her Daughters - Patricia Hill Noel of Miami, FL, Bonnie H. Foxx (& Elder Ronald Foxx) and Freda Smith of Ocala, FL; Sons - Lonnie Hill (& Barbara Levy), Lloyd Hill (& Verline) and Willie Smith of Gainesville, FL; sister - Willene Griffin of Starke, FL; granddaughter/ raised as her daughter - Kimberly Lindor (& Fabien) of Chicago, IL; 31 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; God-Daughter - Olivia Lewis (& Booker T.) and Honorary Daughter - Susan Carr of Gainesville, FL; sister-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins & sorrowing friends.
