McCANN, ANNIE MAE
Annie Mae McCann, 97, wife of the late Deacon Willie Cecil McCann and daughter of the late Supt Willie Days Sr. & Mother Irene Days, transitioned (due to natural causes) into the arms of the Father on Monday, January 29, 2018, at Haven Hospice/E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville FL.
Annie was born in Taylor County, Florida and resided in Gainesville since the 1940's. She was a faithful Member of Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ where she ministered, taught and worked in church administration. She was a Behavioral Program Specialist at Tacachale (formerly Sunland Training Center) where she worked until her retirement.
A masterful storyteller, in her free time, Annie enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading the Bible.
She is survived by her son, Pastor Timmothy B. McCann, and daughter-in-law, LaSonya McCann, of Atlanta GA; her son. Pastor Michael McCann, of Gainesville, FL; her sister, Dorothy Days, of Gainesville and brothers, Percy Days Sr., of Lake City, FL and Robert Days of Gainesville - as well as a host of extended family members.
The Homegoing will be held 1:00p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Williams Temple Church of God in Christ (Gainesville, FL) where Elder Kenyarda Feathers is Pastor, with Elder Theodore Welcome delivering the Eulogy. There will be No Public Visitation of Mrs. McCann. The family will gather at the church at 12:45p.m.
