(CHUCK), 80

Chester "Chuck" Bush, age 80, Ret. Lt., with ASO, Civil Bureau, went to be with the Lord October 17, 2013. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Ruby (White) Bush; a son, Harold "Rusty" Bush; two step sons, Jimmy Lee and Ronnie Silas; three daughters, Cynthia Lowe (George), Edna "Edie" Bush and Linda Hatch (Wayne); eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; brothers, Floyd (Betty) of Ypsilanti, MI, Russell (Patricia) and sister, Dorothy Crimes (Bob), both of Mechanicsburg, OH.

Chuck was born in Mt. Sterling, OH and moved to Gainesville in 1969. He served 4 years in the US Navy during the Korean War, retired from Alachua County Sheriff's Office in 1996 after 25 years of service and is a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge #79, New Haven, CT.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Pastor Brad Noble officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park East, 3700 SE Hawthorne Road. The family will receive friends Monday, October 21, 2013, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
