Ercho Noley Boyette, age 88, a lifelong resident of Old Town, went to heaven on Nov. 17, 2012 to join her parents, Robert Franklin & Belle Pridgeon, her husband A.J. Boyette, her siblings Annie, Odie, Dave, Clidy, Ruth, Louise and Benny. She is also rejoicing in heaven with her daughter, Wanda Faye; son Jack; grandson Wyndall and great granddaughters Halie & Hannah Overstreet.
Ercho worked and retired from the US Postal Service in Old Town after 30 years of service. In addition to working at the post office, she also worked as Financial Secretary at Green's Texaco & Grocery in Old Town for many years.
Ercho is survived by her siblings, Mae Robbie Sims, Brandyon Pridgeon and Sally Corbin; her son, Roy Boyette Sr. of Old Town; grandchildren, Tammy, Greg, Lisa, Donna, Doug, Roy Jr., Frankie & Jeff, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wed., Nov. 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Old Town with Pastor Royce Hanshew and Bro. Bobby Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Town Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
