Pastor Gladys Days, 67, of Williston, Florida transitioned from her earthly home to her new home in Glory on March 27, 2018.
Pastor Days was a teacher at Prairie View Elementary School for 30 years. She touched many lives and embraced the love of all her students, co-workers and the community. She started her Christian walk, as a child, attending Deliverance Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C., in Chiefland, Florida. She worshipped at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church of Williston, where she served as the choir director and the youth department director. After serving well, she followed the instructions of the Lord and started New Abundant Life Outreach Ministries, where she served from labor to reward.
She leaves to celebrate her life and legacy, a loving husband of 50 years, Pastor Tony Days III, 3 children, DaSharree Berry(George), Anthony Days and Pastor Darwin Days. 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, siblings, Bennie Thomas, Eva Mattox (Marcus), Adam Thomas (Sharon), Cathy Thomas, Geneva Nixon (Bernard) and Billy Thomas.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 07, 2018, 11:00am at Unity Temple International Fellowship, Inc.(2351 N.E. 200th Ave. Williston, FL). Interment will follow in the Chiefland Community Cemetery. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services.
