VILARET, GLORIA VILLATE
Mrs. Gloria Villate Vilaret, 86, died April 6, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Dr. Manuel R. Vilaret. She is survived by her brother Rene L. Villate, 3 daughters, Vilma V. Lang, Gloria V. Gonzalez, and Arleen V. Partridge, her son Manuel R. Vilaret, their spouses, 13 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Born in Wichita, KS and raised in Cuba, Gloria was a 59 year resident of Gainesville. She was a loving mother and grandmother who many considered to be a matriarch of the Gainesville Hispanic Community. She was an active member of the Gainesville Woman's Club for over 50 years and was involved with her church and several charitable organizations while also partnering in her craft business.
A funeral mass will be held at Holy Faith Catholic Church at 9am on Saturday, April 14, 2018.
