Henrietta Banks, age 66, daughter of the late Deacon Glen & Lillie Banks, Minister, Retired University of Florida Employee & 1970 Graduate of Gainesville High School, peacefully surrendered to the Will of God on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
The Homegoing Celebration will be held 12:00PM Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Jerusalem Church of God by Faith (Monteocha Community/ Gainesville, FL) where Elder Duane Gainey is Pastor, with her Pastor, Reverend Tommy L. Brantley, delivering the Eulogy. The Burial will follow at the Rhuta Branch Cemetery. Minister Banks will be viewed at the Funeral Home Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at the residence of Minister Banks' son & daughter-in-law, Frederick & Constance Doby, 1721 NE 21st Place, Gainesville at 11:15AM.
Fond Memories will remain with her son - Frederick Doby, Sr. (& Constance) of Gainesville, FL and daughter - Jacqueline Doby Monroe of Clermont, FL; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grands; brothers - James Banks, Reverend John Banks (& Carol), Glen Banks, Jr. (& Min. Patricia) and sisters - Dearn Miller, Leola Gardner, Min. Geneva Doby (& Clement, Sr.) Beatrice Banks (Evergreen Gainey, Min. Willie Mae Carter and Merlinda Gainey); God-children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
