Speedville - Deacon Johnny Leon Flowers, age 77, died Sept. 9, 2013. He's a Retired Supervisor at Clay Electric, US Navy Veteran and a member of Divine Deliverance Church Of God By Faith, Speedville, FL.

He's survived by his loving wife, Ernestine W. Flowers; 4 children, Rose Sewell, Cleofus (Elaine) Flowers, Timothy (Felecia) Flowers, and Pearl (Rufus) Hutchinson; 2 sisters, Norma Jean Cromwell, Mary McGregor; 4 brothers, Tommy, Ernest, Gregory Flowers and Charles Clark; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and other relatives.

Home Going Celebration will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, Lake Area Bible Church, 7085 CR 214, Melrose, FL, Danny Smartt, Pastor, Elder R.J. Hutchinson, Eulogist. Burial will be in Speedville Cemetery. Viewing on Friday at PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 21400 SE HAWTHORNE RD, HAWTHORNE, FL, 2-7 p.m., and Saturday at the church 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. No viewing after the eulogy.
