Kathleen Lucille Williamson of Hawthorne, Florida passed away at the Haven Hospice, E. T. York Care Center in Gainesville on October 29, 2013 at the age of 76.
She lived with grace and dignity and was loved by all who knew her. Kathleen was born on April 18, 1937 in Yolyn, West Virginia. She moved to Florida with her family in 1952 and graduated from Melrose High School in 1955. She lived and worked while raising her children in Tampa, Florida (1959 - 1965), Topeka, Kansas (1965- 1969), and again in Tampa until she returned to the Hawthorne area in 1982.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Williamson, her father and mother, Moggie and Hazel Adkins, and her brothers Raymond and Norman Adkins. She is survived by her children Randall (Karen) White, Sharon (Clayton) Abell, and Beverly (Cary Jedlovec) Braat; her grandchildren Jessica Edds, Emily (Travis) Lockwood, Matthew White, Raymond Braat, Jeffery Braat, Frank Braat, Charles Braat, Michael Braat, and Victoria Braat; her great-grandchildren Ashlynn and Abigail Edds, and Leah and Grace Lockwood; her sister Twila (Romie) Williamson; and her brother Franklin (Christina) Adkins.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., in Hawthorne Cemetery with Dr. Don McGarity officiating.
Arrangements are under the care of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAWTHORNE, US 301 South at Lake Avenue.
