Molly M. Morrison, age 84, died Tuesday at E.T. York Hospice Care Center. She was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida and lived in the same house that she was born in for her entire life. Molly was a Poet and Storyteller Extraordinaire. Molly was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Wesley Fidelis SS Class, a member of the Junior Welfare League Fine Arts, the Pilot Club of Gainesville, and DAR.

She was born to Dr. Donald Morrison, Sr. and Ottie Gray Morrison who preceded her in death as well as her brothers Dr. Donald Morrison, Jr. and Henry G. Morrison. Survivors include her sister Betty Morrison Williams and her brother-in-law, E.G. Williams, Jr. of Pompano Beach, FL.

Molly asked that in lieu of flowers contributions should be made to the Dr. Donald Morrison, Sr. Scholarship Fund at the Dental College at the University of Florida or to the Pilot Club of Gainesville.

A Service of Remembrance will be held Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at 12:30 P.M. in the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville 419 N.E. 1st St., Gainesville, FL. 32601.
