KENNITH MORTEN, SR.
Age 63, Son of the late Deacon Albert & Clara Morten, US Navy Veteran, Retired Power Plant Operator & 1968 Graduate of Lincoln High School peacefully left us on December 12, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30AM Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church (Gainesville, FL) where Reverend Dr. N. LaMonte Newsome is Pastor, with Reverend Dr. Marie J. Herring officiating. Burial (with Military Honors) will follow at the Newnansville Cemetery (Alachua, FL). Mr. Morten will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at his residence at 10:00AM.
Kennith will remain within the hearts of sons - Kennith Morten, Jr., Roderick Morten and Derrick Morten of Gainesville, FL; brothers - Albert Morten Jr., of Ventura, CA, Larry Morten (& Elaine) of Brandon, MS, George Morten (& Sharon) of Venice, CA, Hayward Morten of Goleta, CA; sister - Jessie Morten of Gainesville, FL (Lois Woody preceded him in death); 10 grands; 1 great grand; aunt; nieces & nephews (with a special nephew - Robert Woody (& Bernadette) of Gainesville, FL; cousins; & friends.
