JEROLAMAN, PETER C., 66

Hawthorne - Peter C. "Pete" Jerolaman died peacefully at home on Saturday, October 12. He was 66.

Mr. Jerolaman was born and grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he graduated from Stranahan High School. After moving to the Hawthorne area in 1971, he earned an AA degree from Santa Fe Community College.

Peter was a United States Marine and a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War.

He worked as a sales representative in the produce industry for 25 years, the last 14 years with Rainbow Produce of Gainesville. Pete has been a familiar face in many restaurants, schools, and businesses in the Gainesville area.

Pete was a loving husband, father and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. "Jack" Jerolaman and Alice D. Jerolaman. His survivors include his wife of 33 years, Julia A. (McMillin) Jerolaman of Hawthorne; a son, Jody B. Jerolaman and grandson, Jackson C. Jerolaman, both of Hawthorne; a sister, Ann (Jerolaman) Woolley with her husband Mark Woolley of Mexico; as well as six nieces and seven nephews spread throughout the country.

There will be a celebration of Pete's life at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 22nd in the Chapel at Trinity United Methodist Church with Dr. Marvin R. McMillin officiating.

Hospice helped to make Pete's final days easier... memorial contributions may be made in Pete's memory to Haven Hospice.
