Thelma B. McKnight, 90 passed away November 8, 2012 at E.T. York Care Center.

She was born in Williston FL. and moved to Gainesville, in 1942. She was a member of Church of God By Faith where she has served as church school teacher, usher, and a member of the Mother's Board. Survivors include four sons Wilbur B. McKnight, Jr. Winter Garden, FL. Vernon N. McKnight (Linda) Bakersville, CA Ralph L. McKnight, (Diane) Gainesville, FL, Raymond J. McKnight (Faye) Gainesville, FL; four daughters, Emily W. McKnight, Gainesville, FL., Carolyn A. Jones (Felix) Gainesville, FL., Constance G. Tweeton (Kon) Alburquerque, NM., Thelma A. Hill Gainesville, FL. one brother Henry Brown, Williston, FL; one sister Teaster Preston, Miami, FL; 27 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Homegoing Services for Mrs. McKnight, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at Passage Family Church 2020 N.E. 15th Street Gainesville, FL. George B. Dix, Jr. Senior Pastor, Elder James E. McKnight, Jr. Eulogist. Interment will follow in Newnanslake Church of God By Faith Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N-W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation Chestnut Memorial Chapel Friday 2:00-7:00 PM and on Saturday at the church one hour before the service. Family member are asked to meet at the church at Passage Family church at 10:45 AM.
