JOHNSON, ZELLENER
Zellener Johnson, 70, wife of the late Lee Calvin Johnson, peacefully surrendered to the will of GOD on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Saint Petersburg General Hospital with family at her bedside. She was born in Saint Petersburg, FL where she attended Gibbs High School. She graduated from the University of Florida (in Gainesville, FL). Zellener was an Educator for 35 years and was employed by the Pinellas County School System. She finished her career at Bear Creek Elementary. She was a faithful Member of First Mount Zion M.B. Church for decades. She served as church secretary and finance treasure for many years. Zellener was a faithful servant. Zellener was a loving soul and loved spending time with her family. She will forever live in our hearts.
Zellener is survived by her sons, Kevin Johnson and Terrence Johnson and daughter, Charita Johnson, of St Petersburg, FL; 3 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration will be held 11:00AM Saturday, April 14, 2018, at Banks Chapel Church of God in Christ (Hainesworth Community/ Alachua, FL) where Reverend Charles Spidell is Pastor, with Reverend George Trotman delivering the Eulogy. The Burial will follow at the Newnansville Cemetery. The Procession will form at 'The Johnson Family Home', 4540 State Road 235, Lacrosse, FL, at 10:15AM.
