Alan C. James, 54 passed April 6, 2012 at his home. He was born in. Reno, Nevada and moved to Lake Butler, FL. in 1991 from Brooklyn, NY. Survivors include: Mother Juanita James, Lake Butler, FL. Daughter Constance James, Houston, TX. one brother, Steven James, two sisters; Brenda James Holmes, and Michelle Lee all of Lake Butler, FL. Memorial Services for Mr. James will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Body of Christ Church of God in Christ, Lake Butler, FL. Elder Jacob James, Pastor. Arrangements under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home 18 N.W. 8th Ave., Gainesville, FL. Family members are asked to meet at the church at 1:45 PM.
